That was my version of the TV show Jeopardy. My apologies to any of the show’s staff this may have offended and to any city council personal I may have offended, well, you should all be ashamed of yourselves anyway. Restrictions on Public Comments, twice monthly meetings, still serving the Garbage fee, and giving my assurance I am going to pay for a bad loan. Tisk tisk tisk.

Creative!
Wait a minute, I protest your characterization of the Sears Block. Are you saying that the big hole in the ground is not an improvement over the dialapated buildings that were on the site previously? It's only been a year since the demolition was completed, and wouldn't you agree that at least completing the demolition moved the site closer to some development eventually, even if the Museum plans fizzle?
Yes. The dialapted buildings sat for years and years. Now, we have a crappy wooden fence around the lot and there is a hole in the ground. Everyday this sits like this, it will cost more and more to build. Just wait until the council starts arguing over how big an underground parking deck has to be while IMO no deck is needed there at all. Just wait and see...
Randall: That's like ticketing a guy for store yard waste on his site while he's raking leaves. This is a process, whether you're of the museum project or not.
If this is a "process" then why isn't CAT buidling their visitor center? At least they could be doing some site surveys, land leveling or something. Nope, even CAT knows this is a hole in the ground and unless Peoria commits there will be no Visitor Center built. That says volumes.
