I have finally reached the end of the internet. This is my last post. This blog will come down completely by the end of the month. To those of you that were kind enough to link to me please update your links.
I had a big long drawn out post as to why but decided to say "screw it" and just stop.

All I can say is, I hope it lasts as long as the other times you have quit! Where else am I going to read phrases like "fart to dial out"? Thanks again for the info on real estate in Peoria, unfortunatly the house on Sheridan had foundation issues.
Sorry that you are quitting blogging Emtronics you had some very interesting articles, just make sure you keep your opinions going on the other forums....Just educate your boys about blogging.
Oh, screw this shit, Randall.
There is absolutely no f****** reason to delete this blog and it's posts. You realize that when you delete a blog, every link to those posts on other people's blogs suddenly are broken?
A day, a week, a month or even a year from now, you are gonna want to refer to something you wrote here. Or, you might even change your mind and want to return to blogging.
Quit blogging if you must. But deleting blog posts is like a newspaper burning it's library of clips. In a way, it's worse, because you would deny other people access.
Randall, I don't know why you are quitting, but everyone has there reasons to do what they do. I know I enjoy reading your blog and will be sorry to see it go (if, in fact, you take it down or stop posting).

Why would you stop blogging just because you might run for City Council?
Don't you think that IF I did run for city council someone, maybe the media would take something I posted here and use it out of context?? Naaaw. That wouldn't happen. Still, I am considering to say just screw it and blog anyway. I am what I am and if I did run, you would either vote for me or not. At least I wouldn't hide behind a phoney suit and you would know what you are getting.
If we lived in the South end we'd vote for you!
I probably would NOT vote for you if I didn't know you, because I didn't know you. But now, since I know you, if I could vote for you, I would. Does that make sense? If not, drink a beer and try again.
