I go to Las Vegas with their head supervisor twice a year and we party most every weekend.

Is it my fault your too big an idiot to run your own site or are using a computer from Mattel? It isn’t my fault that my posts fall into your spam filter, it is your fault that they do and I am tired of emailing and asking for my comment to be posted. Excuse me for posting and asking directly. What a dick. You can bet your sweet ass if Diane or any of the others you like had the same problem, it would have been fixed. Talk about fair journalism. I mean really, if the BlogPeoria site was such an asset to Peoria, you should be able to get the city council to fund it as they fund everything else in this town sans police, fire and streets.
With this said, I will no longer post to and read your funky site, which is off line more than on, and I could care less if you ever come by here. I can get eye candy on any Google search and the articles you post come right out of the PJS. I am tired of you calling me the idiot and then accusing me of making up the fact that my posts seem to disappear. Maybe you should hold up a mirror and look into it real hard……you just might see the idiot.

Yes! Feel better now? I find your blog far more enjoyable than that one anyway. Like you said, I can read the PJStar online, know a few real journalists who actually investigate their stories, and don't like to read people beg anyway. I get enough of that downtown every day. :)

Well, I don't normally read blogs. I'm pretty much a peaceful and private guy, who doesn't usually go looking for adversity. But, I do make an exception when it comes to censorship.
I tried to post at Billy's site yesterday, to tell him what a turd he was ... but was blocked. I thought probably because of my IP address, which has somehow become infamous.
PAP, well-said. I agree with you whole-heartedly. I just can't stand derelict people who seem to think they run this town, and this internet. It infuriates me when so-called influential people abuse their standing. Billy and the moderator jnj are the two that come most quickly to mind.
I never really did understand how a 40 yr old + guy who until recently lived with his mom was held in such reverence by the on-line Peoria community. Truly great bloggers need relevance and credibility ... he has neither. So, please let the pundit dry up, fall off and wither away into nothingness. Long live PAP, the new Blogfather. So be it annointed, so it be done.

That's the number of comments Randy Emert posted on my site in May. That's a pretty high number considering there's supposed to be some kind of conspiracy to keep him from posting comments. Almost all of them I pulled out of my spam filter. In fact, every single post he made that showed up in my spam filter was personally approved by me.
He says there is one that didn't. Maybe it got deleted by accident. Maybe there was a glitch (entirely possible) on my end or Randy's end.
If he wants to repost it, he can.
And since he solved the "spam" problem by changing the username from "Emtronics" to "Randall," I'm pretty certain it will appear.

Read you all the time. I am staying neutral, because I read the other site too(and am a registered user), but agree it has fallen off as of late. I just wish you put up more. The city is all sorts of f--ked up and they need your voice.

In retrospect, I had no business calling you an idiot. I was out of line in that regard. I was angry with the suggestion was was filtering your comments deliberately, and with your failure to recognize I was going out of my way to rescue your comments and that you were not the only person this was happening to.
Your blog is not coming up on the pdc blogroll now. It was earlier. Have you been banished? Oh well, you're still on the one at www.peoriaspeaks.com.
Billy: I was pissed. I've seen dumber shit on your site and yet I'm called the idiot. I decided not to say anything, in fact Sunday morning went to church and felt a little forgiving, hence the first post. Really, felt sorry for myself. After awhile, I just snapped.
I'm sorry about your health issues. I can relate to that.
Still, I'll be the first to admit that you have pulled my comments out of the filter on many occasions. I still maintain that I made a legit post concerning teacher's I have talked to about DV and the goings on with the dismissal of that Principal. That completely disappeared (under Emtronics) hence I copped an attitude at your site.

Billy, I dropped a note on your site 5 minutes ago under "Randall". That too never appeared. See? I don't understand why some people have no problem on your site getting involved with a thread, but I have to wait until you find it, if you even do.
Randall: I am about to call it quits with Akismet. Too many false positives. I'm going to try ONE MORE TIME to fix Akismet and then I'm dumping it for something new. You are one of five regular commenters who cannot seem to get past the filter. My problem is that I MUSt have something powerful or my site fills with spam.
