Today, a school in District 150 had students inside it. Teachers were there and some appeared to be teaching classes. The Admin decided that school will continue in various buildings throughout the District for the remainder of the year. Some parents were pissed and mad they weren’t told or asked which building they thought should be used.
The horrors of all this. I am sure the local news will pick up on this and film at 10.

oh, randy - don't you know that the regulars who speak at board meetings have all the answers.
Most of us have never claimed to have all of the answers. We do, however, want accountability/responsibility by those who make the decisions that are supposed to be in the best interest of the students. So far, several of us have provided many research studies that are polar opposite of what King Ken wants to do, and yet they refuse to even peruse it. I have even had 1 member tell me that my research isn't necessary as they obtain their info from admin.
The public is very frustrated that 150 pretends to care what they think/feel and then do whatever the he** they want to do. I think the public is very apathetic at this point and the few of us that do speak up are ignored BECAUSE we are seen as rebel rousers. In truth, there are many R.R. they have just decided that if no one listens it isn't worth speaking anymore. The district will implode on itself, eventually.
Beth: I respect your opinion but the mere fact you call the Superintendent of Schools; "King Ken" cheapens it.
Destructive = tears down
Constructive = builds up.
Mutual Respect 101
Sorry for offending you. There are many that believe that he behaves as a king would and is allowed to behave that way by the board. I thought it was better than calling him a bully! ;)
Didn't offend me at all. Just took it for what it's worth. There are many that believe that Mr. Hinton is doing the best job he can with what he has and the constant bombardment he gets from backseat quarterbacks that usually only last as long as K thru 12. (If you get my drift)
