Peoria Police said that the latest home invasion isn’t related to others that have been happening around Peoria. Whew! For a minute there I thought those crooks might be overworked what with robbing and kicking in doors and beating elderly people. Now I can rest assured other thugs have taken up this sport.
What kind of lame bozo statement is this coming from the police of all agencies? Are we to feel better that a small select group of thugs is not the only ones in the business? Good God. If God was to give the World an enema, this is where he’d stick the hose.

Addendum: It has become horrific for anyone to encounter a home invasion, especially elderly folks who are so vulnerable. Must people barricade themselves with window bars and reinforced doors to be safe which ultimately is a risk that prevents or delays firefighters/paramedics to gain entry in an emergency.
Why do I get the feeling that Peoria was actually safer back in the 30's when it was a hang-out for mobsters?

Did you ever think that this wasn't the police so much "making a statement" as it was them "answering a question?" If a reporter asked you (Chief PAP) if the crimes were related and you knew they weren't, what would you say? And you don't know all of what the police might have said, just what was reported.
