I had precisely that SAME conversation with one of my students this week. I think I might show this the first day of class in the spring semester...the what NOT to do intro to my course!! :) Thanks for the finals week humor!
And these students turn into the same type of employees. You constantly have to tell them repeatedly what to do and have to follow them around to ensure it gets done. That, of course, means that you are picking on them and treating them unfairly. They feel undervalued and deserve a raise for showing up late and hung over/asleep everyday. When you "pink slip" them, they act surprised and "will do anything" to keep their job.
Meechie Edwards is offering family planning sessions during the winter break. Most only want to learn how to start collecting "gummamint" checks. Class is over-enrolled already.
