Gee wiz, Sullivan has one of the few bars downtown on Water street so my gosh, let’s have an airshow. How would we see jets banking behind the tall buildings? Will the paratroopers jump into the river?
Ok let’s hold the State swim meets at the Civic Center…where there is NO POOL.

I was stupefied when I saw that in the paper: is it is joke or serious??!! How much more bizarre can it get in Ol' Pee-town?!?! Is there something in the water . . .
Ummm....airshow at Navy Pier??? Air show over the bay at Seattle??
Give me a break Vonster. Ever been to Navy Pier. Seattle, even Louisville? What's our riverfront got? Hooters? Apples and a dried Plum here
Even so, many Airshows are not connected at airports
I find it hard to imagine an airshow at the riverfront because of the bridges but even so....
I bet it will be "hosted" on the EP side of the river where there is more "open space" and the community is...ahem..."friendlier"
Maybe They can get Capt. Sully to land another airplane on the river like he did in New York
